Conspiración Urbana

*What's the meaning behind the band's name?
Well, basically we chose the name because we wanted something  easy to remember and at the same time a name wich would represent a huge strength, in addition to sound right up street guide, so we chose the name of Conspiracion Urbana  which means “Urban Conspiracy”…  Sounds huge, dark and powerful

*How the band started?
At first we were 2 in the Band, Psycho Monkey and Mad, thereafter we integrated Merrick on bass who later became the Band keyboardist, then we invited Majo as bassist and finally T-800 joined to the Band on the Drums, since the beginning we´ve been evolving from a band of only two members (keyboard and guitar) until now that  we´re a complete Band (two guitars, bass, drums and keyboard) most of us had belonged to other musical projects even though they weren´t  so successful, thanks to those bands we met each other within the local music scene in our region.

*What's the message to transmit with your music??
Our songs range from things we feel or we go in our lives, talk about deep feelings, on the other hand we also like talkin´ about fiction stories or we take influences from some books, movies or things that happen to someone else.

*What's your method at the time of writting a song?
Psycho Monkey and Mad usually start with a basic idea, we met with the band and               we talk about it and the idea began to develop gradually and everyone contributing their own ideas which often give us very satisfactory results, we are a family and good friends trying to make music and it helps us to focus quite right on what we do.
*Which is your music influences?.
We have a fairly extensive influences wich have shaped our lives as musicians, some of these bands are: Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Static-X, Korn, Deftones, Dir en Grey, Rammstein, The Birthday Massacre, System of a Down, Pantera, Despised Icon, to name a few.

*What plans do you guys have for the future??
We're promoting our first EP and working on new songs to complete what will be our first LP, making a couple of official videos, we want to present our music all over the world and we´re also seeking to give concerts outside our country and of course continue giving good shows on the national scene, basically these are our future plans for now and we´ll be working hard to achieve them

*Which has been the funniest prank you guys have been or took part while on tour or after a show??
Well, we usually bother Mad because he´s a very desperate guy and we´re always making jokes to him, or when we travel in our vehicle we listen to music wich doesn´t  like him just to bother Mad a bit and also something funny was a day when T-800´s Drums was fully disarmed on the middle of a show, Drums was a crap, but it was funny.

*If you guys were stranded in the middle of nowhere after a show or while on tour. The help is 65 miles away from where you guys are, ¿Who would you guys send to look for help? And if while the rest wait, there's no food and the only way to feed yourself is by eating each other, ¿Who would you eat first?
We´d send Mad first because he´s the one who we believe has better physical condition than the other ones and we´d eat first T-800 because  he´s the one with more meat.

*Which country you guys would love to play?
We´d love to play in Japan, Canada, Germany, and some South American countries as Brazil, Argentina or Chile, in any manner anywhere would be great to performance.

*With which bands you guys would love to share stage??
Definitely with Deftones, Dir en Grey, The Birthday Massacre, in general, would be a real pleasure share the stage with any band that we admire.

*Are you guys OK, with the direction the band is going actually?
Yes, we believe that we´re doing things right, we´ve already achieved our first musical production and we´ve gained many fans slowly and wherever we go we´re always welcome so, we believe we're on the right track even though we´ll continue working constantly and knocking as many doors are necessary to try winning a good place on the musical scene.
