Jes Falcon

How did you get started with all this??
JF. You mean with rock and roll? I´m not sure…my mum always tells the tale that years ago, when my family moved from one part of town to another and I was only 2, I spent  the whole trip singing the name of the street where we had been living in, so may be that was my first song…years later somebody told me that my songs could be made by a 2 year old kid so I guess I´m true to myself…
just kidding, nobody said so…yet.

What's the message to transmit with your music?? When I write a song I´m just saying things to the world. Even if I write a song to somebody in particular or I tell a story I want every one to listen to it (or I´d like to). In general all my songs are about social injustice and love.  They´re all very personal, love stories (so called love?) that happened to me and my critical view about human society in general.  And of course I want people to enjoy the melodies too, to move them inside and to rock them big time.

What's your method at the time of writting a song?? Music is a combination of 12 notes so I guess I just discover combinations of those notes that no one or no one I know has discovered before. Sometimes a phrase comes to my mind and I write it down and I try to fit it in with many melodies that come to my mind or I may even have dreamt of, sometimes it takes me 30 minutes and sometimes 5 years.

Which is your music influences?? I´ve been listening to music all my life. SinceThe Smurfs when I was 4 and everything from Beethoven to Eternal Tears of Sorrow, from Ray Charles to Kittie, from Norah Jones to Epica, from the Go-Go´s to Motorhead…you name it. Anyway I think you can find the masters in The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Springsteen and then a lot more of course…There´s a nice one too called Jes Falcon, people should listen to him too…sounds promising

What plans do you have for the future?? World Peace and Wealth Share. Personally, I keep working at making more and more people aware of Jes Falcon´s music so thanks so much for helping on this by the way. More songs are being released and a video clip is starting to roll along with online radio plays and live shows.

Which has been the funniest prank you have been or took part while on tour or after a show?? Uhmm difficult to say…..let me think, I remember one battle of those long fire hoses for some reason…or one of my friends dropping his pants in the middle of a crowded street in Athens to show us that indeed his undies had some warner brothers´s character on them…I´ve had great funny times with these friends and here´s for more to come.

If you were stranded in the middle of nowhere after a show or while on tour. The help is 65 miles away from where you and your band (If any) are, ¿Who would you send to look for help? And if while the rest wait, there's no food and the only way to feed yourself is by eating each other, ¿Who would you eat first?
This is definitely the most complicated question I´ve ever been asked (excluding my biochemistry exams). Assuming mobile phones don´t work, I guess I would end up walking trying to get us some help.  I couldn´t eat any of them, I´d die poisoned.

Which country you would love to play?
Japan, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand (if flights are paid) I´ve never played there…I´ve never played in Monaco either…come to think of it it may be a curious place to play at, Monaco…But really I would play again in any country I´ve played so far.

With which bands you would love to share stage?? I´m not sure if I wanna share the stage…OK let´s do it for the marketing…I would share the stage with people you could really have fun with and have a nice conversation, say Springsteen (the boss is the boss), Kiss, The Rolling Stones, The Foo Fighters, The Go-Go´s, The Priscillas, Green Day, AC/DC, The Horrorpops…

Are you OK, with the direction the band is going actually? I wouldn´t mind some more of media attention to be honest but it´s a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll…
